Sonance Caskets Penitent’s End Guide – 17 Locations

Penitent’s End, unlocked during Rinascita’s main story, ties directly into the Ragunna City disappearances and the Fools’ Troupe storyline. This region serves as a temporary haven from The Order, but remains dangerous with enemies everywhere—including the Dragon of Dirge at the mountain peak. Scattered across the area are 17 Sonance Caskets. Below are three representative locations, followed by a summary of how to find the rest using common traversal tools.

Cave Behind the Waterfall

Cross the Wailing Ascent bridge and notice a Sonance Casket floating on the road to your right. From there, follow the road to a body of water with a waterfall. Use the echo gondola to ride up the waterfall and enter the cave. The casket sits on a platform to your right, near the cave wall. This spot introduces the white cat’s paw for faster travel and the gondola mechanic you’ll rely on later.

Bone Fragment Above a Camp

Teleport to the Resonance Beacon northwest of the island. Just a few meters away, you’ll see a tall bone fragment—climb it to claim a Sonance Casket at the top. Afterward, jump off the fragment and head down the cliff to a tree log above the Fractsidus Camp; another casket is suspended there. This area also features a Plushie Squad camp with a casket inside the big tent, and a Wingray near the cliff edge that can take you to a shipwreck (casket on the lower deck behind boxes).
