Snorlax, Greninja & Mewtwo ex: Ultra→Master

If you’ve been grinding the Ultra Ball ranks with all the usual suspects and hit a wall, this water-heavy deck built around Snorlax, Greninja, and Mewtwo ex might be exactly the pivot you need. It’s not the most consistent build on paper—draws can brick—but when it clicks, the ceiling is ridiculous. You get a 140-HP wall that swings for 100 by Turn 2, a free-chip attacker that wears opponents down over time, and a self-charging backup EX that closes games when you’re behind. Once you learn the sequencing, this deck can carry you from Ultra Ball straight into Master Ball.

      The Core Trio

Your main tank is Snorlax—the one with 140 HP and the attack Collapse. Almost all your Water Energy goes on it, especially early. Pair it with the Supporter card Collapse (which lets Snorlax attack for 100 damage with just two Energy) and you apply immediate pressure. To keep Snorlax alive, you have healing from a Water Energy heal item and a Berry that clears Sleep. Greninja is your primary chip damage dealer. Its Ability deals 20 damage to one of your opponent’s Pokémon every turn once it’s evolved. Getting it online early is crucial, and that’s where a specific Frogadier evolution helper comes in—it lets you skip straight to Greninja if you have it in hand. Mewtwo ex is your late-game closer. Don’t throw it out early. Let it sit on the Bench, using its Ability to grab a Psychic Energy each turn. When Snorlax goes down and you’re trailing by two Prize cards, that’s the moment to bring Mewtwo in with three Energy ready to swing.
