Here are three effective counters, along with the items and tactics that make them work.

Wanwan – Mobility and Purge

Wanwan’s Tiger Pace passive gives you the attack speed you need to kite Yu Zhong effortlessly. When he activates Furious Drive or Black Dragon Form, trigger your Needles in the Flowers to remove the airborne and knockback effects. Meanwhile, Swallow’s Path can immobilize him even in Dragonoid form, setting up your team for a burst. For anti-heal, pick up Sea Halberd early—it provides attack speed and reduces his regeneration. Keep your distance and use your dash to stay out of his skill range.

Hayabusa – Invulnerability and Burst

Hayabusa thrives against Yu Zhong because Ninjutsu: Quad Shadow lets you dodge every one of his abilities.
