Silksong Guide: The Great Taste of Pharloom Quest and All Five Dishes

Hollow Knight: Silksong doesn’t exactly hand out its tastiest rewards on a silver platter. Some items simply won’t spawn until players get the ball rolling on a specific Wish — and the Great Taste of Pharloom quest is the poster child for that design philosophy. If a player wanders into the Choral Chambers expecting the Moss Druid to just hand over a warm bowl of Mossberry Stew, they’re in for a rude awakening. That stew, along with four other delicacies, only becomes obtainable once Hornet accepts the Wish from Loyal Mergwin. 😋

So, how does one kick things off? Head to the Choral Chambers and look for the middle room packed with dining tables. Loyal Mergwin is chilling right there, and chatting with him activates the Great Taste of Pharloom quest. He’ll then ask Hornet to round up five different food items. It’s a bit of a slog, no two ways about it — but the payoff is a single Pale Oil, which is nothing to sneeze at.
