The anticipation is building for Wuthering Waves 3.1, and Kuro Games has finally announced the livestream date. On January 23, 2026, at 06:00 AM ET (UTC-5), Rovers around the globe will tune in to catch the latest reveals. But what exactly is in store? From new five-star Resonators to precious Astrite codes, here’s a breakdown of everything players need to know.

As always, the livestream will be broadcast on both YouTube and Twitch, so fans can choose their preferred platform. The special broadcast will offer an in-depth preview of the upcoming update, including story hints, events, and of course, the new characters.

New Five-Star Resonators: Aemeath and Luuk Herssen

Two brand-new five-star Resonators will make their debut in version 3.1. First up is Aemeath, a Fusion-Sword wielder who promises to bring fiery combat prowess. Then there’s Luuk Herssen, a Spectro-Gauntlet user who is notably a rare male Resonator. Both characters are affiliated with the Startorch Academy in Lahai-Roi, adding more lore to the game’s expanding world. For players who have been hoping for more male characters, Luuk Herssen is a welcome addition. In fact, he marks only the second male five-star Resonator in the game, following in the footsteps of previous male characters. This has delighted a portion of the fanbase who have been requesting more gender diversity in the roster.
