Skyward Voyage Quest – Wuthering Waves Guide

Skyward Voyage is a side quest in Wuthering Waves that becomes available as soon as players enter Rinascita through main story progression. The quest begins by speaking to Davide, an old captain who wishes to embark on one final sky voyage before retiring. He can be found in the ruins northeast of Twin Peaks, and a Resonance Beacon in the area provides a convenient teleport point. No other prerequisites are required to start the mission.

Inspiring Davide with Echoes

Davide believes that certain Echoes can power his gondola for the journey. To show an Echo to Davide, equip it in the active Resonator’s first Echo slot, assign the Projector gadget to the Utility Wheel, select it, and press the hotkey to project the creature in front of the NPC. Then sit on the marker to trigger a cutscene of his attempted departure. The first Echo needed is the Cuddle Wuddle Tacet Discord, which is commonly found in areas such as Twin Peaks and Oakheart Highcourt. The second Echo, Fae Ignis, is shown using the same method. Both attempts fail, but they advance the narrative.

Freeing the Wingray

For the final attempt, Davide insists on using a Wingray. The required Wingray is held captive in a nearby Fractsidus camp. Players must defeat the enemies there and then use heavy attacks to break the cage and free the Echo. Once freed, return to Davide and show him the Wingray using the same projection method, then sit down to watch his successful and final departure.
